Was kinda bummed about my lack of projects this year, fear that I'm "getting boring" as a side effect of being poor and depressed.

Then I started to think of my weight loss as a project. 40lbs down in 4 months is... well it's a good start! Have another 45 to go before I'm (BMI) "normal" though.

I hear that introverted people tend to be bad at small talk because their mind is usually on a project of theirs. Felt a little better when I realized I could probably talk your ear off about fitness, weightlifting, or nutrition!

I decided to skip FNM and Saturday yugioh and spent both days with my girlfriend, it seems I got lucky. Local shop is having a Standard tourny today with a box prize, so I get to do all three!

Went to my 10 year HS reunion. Wasn't really planning on it until my sister's boyfriend talked me into it. It was alright. I didn't like HS all that much and didn't really make a whole lot of friends so I didn't really see any reason to go. After HS I lost touch with everyone I used to hang out with. Oddly enough, I was actually happier to see my sister's group of friends. Having grown up with two siblings my same age, I got to see who their friends were. They were always nice to me so I've always been generally interested about their well-being and life events. Not only because that's the kind of person I am but also because these are my sister's best friends and that's also the kind of brother I am.

I was dissapointed that my best friend since middle school didn't show up but he had a pretty good excuse. He called me later tonight and told me he and his wife are expecting a baby! They just found out today. Totally excited for them and I'm glad they called me to let me know. They also have 9 week old kittens they need me to take pictures of so that's something I'm looking forward too >.>

And last but not least, the Curiosity Rover landed safely on Mars! Completely stoked about this and I'm excited to see all the science and data that it sends back. Love this shit.
