This IS Japan were talking about. Everything is an excuse to get laid over there.
"I just bought some lingerie! Time to get laid!"
"I jsut got back from being at sea for 3 weeks! Time to get laid!"
"I just bought several volumes of manga, time to get laid!"
"I am going to the bathroom and vomiting! Perfect time to get laid!"

Well CRAP! Im bored as hell and FEEL like vomiting, and Im not getting ANYTHING except for a higher number on my post count here. -_-
Yeah, I felt a little better last night after my host sister and I went into her room and talked about Christmass traditions for an hour. I told her the story of Saint Nic as best I could in Japanese. That was kind of fun, and I realized that the Japanese dont HATE Christmass, they just have a different way of going about it. For instance, my host sister told me, that when children are given presents by "Santa" that they are not left under the tree, they are left by the pillow of the sleeping child. A bit mroe risky if you ask me.
So what did I get for Christmass, my host dad bought me another R2 Inu Yasha DVD, but Im already done with my video, so thats not entirely useful anymore. But of course, I laughed and smiled and thanked him profusely (these things are NOT cheap here! About 50 US dollars a piece!) but it looks like Ill be swaping it for something else anyway. Maybe Full Metal Panic, but Im not sure (I watched the first two tapes today, I rented them, and it wasnt as actiony as I thought it would be.) Anywho, other than that I also recieved a book on Japanese culture in English from my host mom. That was cool. Anway, that was all I got, but it was about twice what my host sisters got, that is, before I brought out my presents. I like giving presents, and my parents in American sent some things as well, so I had almost 2 or 3 additional presents for every member of the house. My host Dad was surprised when I gave him his gift because usually in Japanese culture the parents dont recieve gifts. That made me all warm and fuzzy and all, but it also made me feel a little awkward. Especially when my host Dad left for work at 8 Oclock. "Late" he called it. Special because its Christmass -_-
Then my host sisters (both of them) left, one to go to tutoring, and the other to go see Hary Potter with some friends. And I was left alone with my host Mom. And after that, we went to the local video rental shop, and I got FMP and watched it, and now Im here, debating whether there is any value to this holiday to the Japanese or not.
Anyway, I just want to wish every in the org a very mery Christmass from everybodys friend in Japan,
Stephen "Ashton" Cilley
PS, everyone go give a hug to your mom, its a good thing to do while you still can...
