The Bunny Girl = best thing evar (and I think Im on camera at AWA saying that).

In any case, Tommy, why do you have this idea that it is your god given right to even be a part of any project?

What if we in La Familia wanted to do a project.
We would call it the "La Familia Uber MegaMix 5 Project of Dewm!".
Would you then get upset because we wouldn't include you? What makes you feel as though you should be included, that we are overstepping the laws of goodness and happyness to not include you? Where did you come about this magic "Tommy Rude will be included in all projects in both past and future, in accordance with the prophecy" card?

I dont get it. People feel as though its there right. Its not. This is purely up to the people who create these projects. You can be pissy all you want for not making the cut, and you weap like a bitch with a skinned knee at the fact nobody rallied behind you at the grave injustice that had befallen you, but to think that all groups of people who wish to make a project, must consult with the magnificent Tommy Rude, making sure that he has a spot, because its his right to have a spot, well...... thats just silly.

I'm with you on that one. That bunny girl owned me. I know how much of a pain 3d modeling can be, so I can respect Nightowl for doing it, and for doing something different.

The sad thing is, he won't understand this at all. You'll have to draw a picture book for him with nice fluffy characters, and he may understand. Usually people get passed the stage of "I'm mean, therefore I'm right, and can do anything I want...gimme your lunch money" when they get out of elementary, but I guess it all has to do with maturing, and growing up.

Trust me twerp, I wouldn' say it wasn't unless I owned the CD.
Demonstration #1 of Tommy's Ignorance:
I really love how you judge people on whether their videos suck or not. How about this: "Yeah, I'd be nice to him, if his car didn't suck as much." "Sure, I'd be nice to him if his hair, or his clothing, wasn't as batted as they were." Illinformed? uneducated? unaware? ignorant? yes.
Hardly. I judge certain people on their work, only because they're made out to be among the best. (ermac, kusayaro, brad, etc.)
Demonstration #2 of Tommy's Ignorance:
TommyRude wrote:Face it kid, some of us assholes know our shit too.
This statement speaks for itself. It gave me a great laugh.
Ceasar was an asshole too :P
I could go on if you want.
Please do.
Have you ever came to the conclusion that because you act like a shithead, they do too? huh. weird concept isn't it? Which is strange, because everone I've ever talked to invovled with the DDR project has been nothing but nice to me. Is it because I'm civil? welcoming? not insulting? calm? I don't type in a boston accent?
Nice still has nuthin to do wit quality of one's work.
Sorry to tell you this, but everything you said really, about the people who are involved with the DDR Project shows your ignorance, because from WHAT I READ, you know absolutely nothing about them, yet you seem to pose as the most knowledgable person alive. You say they're shitheads, which is a great, ignorant statement.
Not really. I only comment on what I DO know of them. Granted, people act different to others (some even consider ME a nice guy, go figure), but to me a lot of them have either been pricks, or by way of their actions have been labled desrving of ridicule. (For example, Brad's employment woes post on DDRAMV)
Why do you act like an asshole? I mean really, where does it get you? It obviously gets you hated and nowhere and enemies with some of the nicest people in the community. Good job, you deserve a medal. (not really, but it makes me laugh saying that  )
Okay, I've said it before, I'll say it again.
There are 2 things that make me an asshole.
1) I'm a reactionary. I almos' always react to whas' goin on around me.
2) I HATE, DESPISE, LOATH, cannot STAND bullshit.
Sad thing is, BS is everywhere. The quasi-politics that go on in the fan comunities, people jockin other people's shit for who THEY are, an not the quality of the shit itself, is' all BS.
If people would jus' collectively cut the crap, I'd be perfectly mellow. Think about it.
Just because your opinion differs, does not mean you have to act the way you do. You'll realize this someday, it's strange you haven't now.
Actually, I'll take you back to 1998, when i was jus' starting to get involved in the fan comunity. It was a time that I had a revelation. This revelation was, "Why SHOULD I be nice to everyone else? If someone sucks, they should be told so, dammit!" An thus the firs' incarnation of the person I am today was born. (I was still a helluva lot nicer back then. I didn't actually get this bad until fanfiction.net went online an' I went totally insane.)
TommyRude wrote:Now listen to me you little troll, if y'gonna try an catch an asshole, you can't act like a BIGGER asshole. I don' bullshit, an as long as you continue to, y'not gonna get anywhere.
Really? I think this whole thread is bullshit, and the only reason it exists is because you felt the need to state your opinion. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against someone stating their opinion. BUT IF YOU CANT DO IT IN A CIVIL WAY, SHUT THE FUCK UP!! No one wants to hear it, take it somewhere else. Having a different opinion than everyone else doesn't make you an asshole, the way you approach it does. Just because you can do it, doesn't mean you have to.
Give me ONE good reason why I should be nice to anyone I've dissed. PLEASE. I don' owe them ANYTHING. Civility is basically psychological welfare. "Lets all go out of our way to help take care of the little rejects who can't cut it on their own." People who earn my respect get it, people who earn my ire get it too. When I approach someone I don' know, I'm almos' alway courteous at first. As time goes on, I form an' opinion about the person. That opinion dictates how I act towards them. An' yes, that opinion can change from time to time. Fact is, a lotta people don' try to know anything about me before they start talkin shit. I don' really mind, but they shouldn' expect anyhting but the same right back.

Wonka: Wonker, what in the blue hell are you talkin aobut? DDR2 was pretty much done by the time I even found out about DDR1, an' I haven' MENTIONED DDR3 since Hsien an' the crew decided to go ahead wit the lottery idea. (Is' not about ME bein' involved, is' about people outside the clique bein' involved.

AD: Okay, here's what I know about the planning behind DDR2, which was passed on to me by the guys compiling it.
Tracks were given to people that the head hanchos actually knew. Those people chose their own backups, an might have had input on who else was given tracks. IOW, if you weren't a friend, or a friend of a friend, or if someone personally liked your work, you weren't involved. MerriC an' VegitoEX were added because someone upstairs liked them, nuthin else. Thass not a knock on either of them, is jus that the only reason they were involved was because they were fortunate enough to catch the eye of someone in the upper echelon of the AMV comunity. I know some other talented creators who I seriously doubt were even considered for the project.

jbone: C'mon, if y'gonna try an zing me, will you please at leas' put some pizzaz in it. :P
