How do I keep AdAware Pro running without it disabling

my internet access? The latest version, whenever it's open, my internet connection always seems to be disabled, and when I close it, it's not disabled anymore.

For a problem with a specific software program, I would probably recommend contacting their support. They're going to be the ones who know the most about it.
