Great round Group C, burning dolphins and all! So far there has been a couple videos in each group that have made me feel slightly intimidated  but in a good way :)

Can't wait for Group G!

You know, when I first read this I was like "ha ha I wish".

...little did I know
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Group C -- Really hard to put together opinions for this one. There weren't any videos that I'd consider 'weak'; they all do decently well. However there also weren't any truly standout videos, head and shoulders above the rest, so no easy winning picks.

Underland - Good source video quality; middling-to-good encoding quality (fixed bitrate instead of CRF).

Very solid editing and general composition; doesn't feel like there's any slack, though there are several points that feel like they could have been done better.

Trapped in Wonderland - Will admit my first reaction was negative due to using the same source as several other vids already seen in the contest, but got over that since scene usage was sufficiently different to consider on its own grounds.

Good source video quality, but only middling encoding quality (CRF 22).

Excellent editing and good use of effects, but composition felt far too variable, from good choices to weak and back again.

The Maddening - Audio editing was extremely well done; the vocals changed order frequently, but I never felt that the audio was choppy.

Also, the dolphins are freaking me out.

Decent source video quality, middling encoding quality (480p, ancient version of x264).

Ending diversion was cute.

I Want You - Meh video quality, but most of the problems are likely due to the source material. Can't really complain, given the age.

Use of lip sync didn't really work well. Lip flap was ok, but the rest of the faces in each scene didn't quite match the song. The sequence at ~0:45 went on way too long.

Most felt kind of generic. It's fairly decent, but enough weaknesses to make it a second tier choice.

Something Different - .... Uhhh..... LOL

Had a few issues with lip sync. Video quality was meh, but expected given the source. Felt like it could have had better general composition and editing, but made up for it in humor.

Wonderland Final ZZ - Had the worst video quality of all of this set, though I'm not sure where the blame for that lies (source or final encoding).

On the other hand it had pretty good composition, and the source definitely fit with the song. Fell apart a little at the end (last 30 seconds or so).

Lip sync poorly done, except for a couple spots, and some of the effects seemed out of place. Despite the (many) technical flaws, though, it was one of my favorites.

You and Me - Good source quality, good encoding quality (though also using an ancient copy of x264).

Most consistent in its thematics, though also felt mildly limited by that at the same time.

Top picks:
Technical: Trapped in Wonderland
Editing: The Maddening
Thematic: Underland, You and Me
Composition: Wonderland Final ZZ
Comedy: Something Different

Yeah, I can't pick just four. Luckily I'm not a judge.

I just loved the group C videos and I completely agree with the judges' choice!

The Maddening was hilarious! I just can't stop watching it :awesome:

My second favourite is Summer's video. It just had a good feeling with it.

Awesome work, people!
