Outlaw Star is actually pretty good. If you have seen Cowboy Bebop, it's similar to that. It's on every Saturday night on Cartoon Network at 12:30 AM. That's the dubbed version. I'd consider watching that before you go buying the DVDs. Also, why don't you go introduce yourself in the It's All About Me thread.

I bought the box set and just finished of disc 4. At first, I wasn't impressed but my wife loved it. Around episode 5 I started to warm to it and not long after it's become one of my fave series.

There's quite a few filler episodes, but the characters are great, and the universe they created is quite rich.

Also, the city designs are nice, and Melfina is cool. Also, the dub features some familiar dub voices.

I really liked it when it was on daily on Toonami. I think it is still on midnight run, but I'm not sure. I like the action and the attitude of the characters (epically Gene). There's my 2-cents.

Yes, I've seen some on DVD. Also, episode 23...

Anyway, Cartoon Network butchers it sometimes.

I hope they still have midnight run that way I can see the rest of G Gundam. If the midnight run is still around the show's right now are G Gundam and G.I. Joe (That's right the one from the days of old complete with public service messages at the end)

Yea, it's really not bad. THe only thing that pissed me off about the entire series was the last episode. If anyone says they understood everything about the last episode of Outlaw Star, you're a liar.
