Trapped in Wonderland: AWESOME masking in this one, and great mood with the scary, dark colors >w>.. Nice sync as well =w=.. Maybe some of the film effects got distracting, but I'm not one to talk xDD.. SUCH FANCY CREDITS, WAH~! That's awesome

Underland: Okay let's see-.. eh?.. WHAT IS THIS TRIPE? GRAAHFDSAHAHAH *table flip*... I'm my own worst critic =w=

The Maddening: COPYCAT, YOU GENIUS YOU. Should have KNOWN you were going to pull something amazing out of your top hat. There was so much WTF-ery happening, I could only stare and laugh and enjoy xDDDD.. My favorite lyrics were: "Baby take off all your forest," and "Show me your magic tower.".. Very creative~.. Oh, and gotta love the lava dolphins xDD And crazy chick terrorism xD

Something Different: The pair up of song and anime was hilarious~ xDDD.. Especially the lipsyncing xDD. Didn't see much beat sync- OH GOD GOKU GET OFF OF VEGETA!! THE IMAGES!!-... I have a feeling this is going to be a fan favorite xDD. Masterful selection of scenes, and a great execution ^w^.. Good job~!

Wonderland Final ZZ: The video quality was a little lacking, but I think other things made up for it. The storybook-opening graphic was pretty awesome, and the action scenes you used were well placed in the more intense chorus. Some of the color effects may have worked against you since it was hard to see sometimes. But I thought the anime choice was actually fitting. I don't know why, but their outfits really fit the song for me xDD. Overall, good job~!

You and Me: Cute story~! And the footage was pretty to look at *w*.. You have some great sync moments with winking and handgrabbing, and the fading part at the bridge of the song was AWESOME~.. Loved that part ^_^.. As was the quick flashes of images afterward. Very good choices, I think, and they make up for the slower part at the beginning . Wonderful job~!

You had an interesting choice of anime, I think, and not too much beat sync, but I think your scene selection suits the song, and your lip syncing was also really nice, and the scenes always fit what they were supposed to be saying. Sometimes it seemed a little slow, and didn't match the mood the song, since I thought it sounded kind of dark and fast-paced, and your video was so adorable and happy ^w^.. If this were to a lighter-sounding song, I think it would REALLY CUTE~ OwO.. As it stands though, dat's a good vid, yo~!

Now that Group C is over with and A through D's videos are released I'll be streaming these.

The schedule looks to be This Saturday, right after the standard TWIAMVs stream (which starts at 8pm EDT) that I expect to finish up sometime between 9:30 and 10pm EDT, I will start the first part of The Quickening streams. I'll start with group A and B's videos first this week. Next week, same time, I will do the 2nd part of The Quickening streams, going with Group C and D's videos. Hopefully, both will be accompanied with results as well.

So Group A and B will be streamed this Saturday, May 19th, approximately between 9:30 and 10 pm EDT (whenever the normal TWIAMVs stream ends) and will include the results as well.
Group C and D will be streamed next Saturday, May 26th, approximately between 9:30 and 10 pm EDT (whenever the normal TWIAMVs stream ends) and will include the results as well.

Future rounds will stream as they are finished and setup. I'll post with updates. Before I start these streams I will be posting announcements to the new This Week in AMVs twitter account, @twiamvs, so feel free to follow it if you have a twitter account to get these updates.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I'll let you know this was source choice #3, plan #3. Originally I had planned for a much darker video using Sailor Moon.... but unfortunately the episodes I chose to prepare (which took 4 days of the competition to do) didn't pan out for what I wanted to do. In the end this is what I was left with. Took a lot of work to get the lip sync where it is and kill all the lip flap ^^() I'm not completely happy with it, but this was the best I could do by the deadline. If I was still a NEET I probably could have stayed up all night last night and through the morning the knocked it all out better, but alas I had to finish, submit, then goto bed so I wouldnt' be a complete zombie at work ^^() No real complaints there though, I knew what I was getting into when I signed up.

I'm still downloading the vids. However I think I'll hold off on my comments until the livestream

And in the end I went with CyberFormula Zero. Oddly, despite being one of my favorite series (at my fav OVA from said series) I haven't actually made a video with it until now. It's been mostly Sin and DoubleOne in the past.

I tend to stream/ watch youtube videos a lot more than TV. So sitting down to watch amvs before bed is awesome, going to be sad when its all over D=
