The defence of the keep what the best part. And the ents taring up Isengard was pretty bad ass also. The fly by of Barad Dur was pretty sweet too.

the whole Ent thing was pretty butchered......but I can understand why they made it the way the did. I mean, in the book, that shit could have been half of the movie! THe BAttle of Helms deep was fuckin' sweet though.

Its cool at the end of helms deep when they ride out, and they are on the bridge and all the orgs are falling to their deaths. 8)

I'm really hoping that when they release the extended DVD for The Two Towers (and you know they will), it's a little more like the book. The Fellowship extended DVD had a lot of little details and storyline things that made it a lot better, and truer to the actual story. I don't want to watch Fellowship any other way, now, just because it really isn't as good. I hope the same thing happens with Two Towers.

Nope, but it has some really nice extra shots of Rivendell and Loth Lorien, also, Gandalf gets to speak Mordor

It's definately worth buying if you don't have the original DVD's yet.

And the reason there is so little magic in the movies is because Peter absolutely hated magic and thus didn't want to include any fireballs or magic lightning, which I think is a wise decision.

Oh, that was Stuart Townsend, but he was decasted because his image didn't fit Strider (he looked too young).
