I agree, sometimes English words have a certain sense about them that makes the word seem more sophisticated. The only one I don't get is:

Catsup

Ketchup

Why call it catsup?

Yes, I've heard old guys talking, and they actually say CAT-SUP. I was like, WTF? It's crazy.

Heh, in Big Daddy, the only thing the kid would eat was packets of ketchup. ^_^ It may only take you three or four days to get to the next 69. Anyway, we both realized that at the same moment. Only I did in another thread.
