'Something I've been working on for the past week on my winter break. I heard Superman playing on the PA in a local grocery store and a huge wave of nostalgia just hit.
Then I decided to make some emotional Holland edits out of it. :3

Its nice to see E7 AMV not focusing on Eureka and Renton.
With the exception of a couple flashes I thought were misplaced (like at 1:01), I think this is a solid AMV.

Oh my word Eka. This was beautiful. ;_____; I mean, of all the E7 videos that I've kept, this one has skyrocketed to my favorite (but it might have to do with the fact that you made a Character Profile about my favorite character in E7).

I didn't like the flashy bits at around :57, because while it was nice beat sync, I don't think the video even needed it. Other than that, your editing was spot on.

GREAT scene selection and you hit the mood beautifully.

I'm not going to bitch about the .wmv since the visual quality was beautiful (except for some banding here and there), but you could have probably shot this to Mp4 without any difficulty.

I highly recommend this to everyone. E7 fan or not.

Hah, ain't that the truth. xD Soso many of those, so its nice for a change. :3
Ah yeah, pesky timing issues. The program was a little finnicky sometimes, particularly when I had to flash out clips sort of fast to go with the music. 'Probably because my episode files are huge. Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad you generally enjoyed it!

I'm flattered! You can never go wrong with emotional Holland edits. :'3 Yeah, I got a little iffy myself on the flashing later on the video but I wanted to keep continuity and I wanted more oomph. I'm sure it would've worked well with a more raw style now, but oh well. ^^;
Abluh. WMV still brought the quality down massively, but I'm thankful its decent. I was going to go with the usual AVI and then run it through AVISynth, but to be honest I was so tired and just did not feel like making myself wait longer. xP One of those moments where I was just staring at half of the video clips and betas for the AMV littered all over my Desktop and thinking, 'ITS DONE. Deletedeletedelete - sweetgod I can see my desktop again!'

Not having seen Eureka Seven I feel that a bit more context into their relationship would have helped me, but I still like the video. It's well-paced, totally on point emotionally, it's easy for the viewer to tell which scenes are flashbacks, and it's a well-focused character profile.

but other than that and some of the small effects i thought it was pretty great 4/5

It really is an amazing song. One of my alltime favorites, that's for sure. And mm, yeah I guess I could've ditched the flashes. To be honest I liked how the flashes on the top and bottom of the screen look, but the fade-in flashes were last minute and something I really think I should've avoided now. :\
