Dad let our dog out while I was sleeping, she jumped the fence, went exploring and so far hasn't come back. It's been 12 hours now, and it's dark outside. No idea where she is; I spent hours looking for her. I hope the Pound has her, but I won't get to find out til Monday. Fmllllll
2012 is just bound to suck.

All my landlords never let my family have a dog. Not even F***in fish (IDK why the hell not). So i still have stuffed plushie dogs...

Some asshole picked up our dog not even a block from where I live (though there are no blocks, it's just a hill.) Probably trying to do the "Christian" thing (no offense.)
If I knew she was not even a minute away, I would have said "fuck it, let her play." She always comes back. God damn, I wish people would stay the fuck off our hill; go play in the park down below dumbasses, it's called private property!

Ugh, mini work vent.....

So sometimes we run these promotions when you get gift certificates for the store when you purchase a certain dollar amount of merchandise ($10 for every $50 you spend.). We ran this promotion through most of December. So right now we're getting a lot of the holiday returns and when you return the items that earned you the gift certificate, you lose the certificate.
I mean, it makes sense to me. Spend $100 --> get $20 in certificates --> return the items --> get refunded $100 --> you don't get to keep the $20 for NOT giving us money. But these customers are fighting me tooth and nail over this.

Customer: "Why don't I get to keep it? I spent the money!"
Me: "...the money that I am now giving back to you."
Customer: "I don't understand, I spent $100!"
Me: "...and you're returned everything that you bought, so that would mean you haven't spent anything."
Customer: "That doesn't make any sense. You guys are always trying to screw me over!"

All yesterday and some of today, I had encores of this same conversation. Seriously, is it that hard of a concept?

So apparently my school screwed over a CRAPTON of student because of an 'error' with their funding, (aka, they probably didn't have enough money in the bank like they were supposed to for some reason... ) Basically everyone who got financial aid checks last week still haven't gotten their money cleared, so anyone who bought their books/paid bills/used it for anything beforehand are now facing bank charges and, depending on the situation, possible credit issues. For once I'm happy I was a total procrastinator and didn't get my books, (though I started school today). Still, I've got bills to pay and teeth that need pulling, and I could reaaally use that money sooner rather than later. I'm getting really sick of this school...
