Getting out of town for the weekend, going to Atlanta. \o/
Revamped my music collection, ipod updated for the 7 hour drive

I recently (July) got my little bro a job at the same company I work for, which was an awesome thing, but then after he moved to Raleigh his truck broke down. So I've been getting up extra early every morning to go get him and take him to and from work and to the store and stuff. I don't mind doing it, because it means he has time to make sure he doesn't get ripped off having his truck repaired, but I've been doing it for about 5 months now -______-

He finally is going to have it taken care of now that he's saved up some cash. I will get to sleep in/get my evenings back.

January is usually a pretty dead month, but I can't wait. I need a vacation from my vacation as it were.

Appointment went better than expected. Apparently, when you get clients up at 7 AM, they are remarkably more flexible. Basically I brought them my bookkeeping design beforehand, and they accepted all of it except for how I was handling their petty cash (apparently, following proper procedures is hard when you only have 4 employees).

They're a really nice company too. The people I was working with are pretty young (I'd say early 30s'), and have a fairly simple business. So doing their bookkeeping/payroll/taxes is going to be nice. The only thing I'm worried about is that these people have WAY too few employees, and it's ripe for employee theft (which I told them). >_<

So yeah, majorly happy about this!

I get NYE and NY's off! For those who don't know, the opportunity for me to have an actual Sat/Sun weekend is VERY RARE. So I'm super stoked to PARTAY~

And I'll be hanging out with my good pal from work and her bf and his friends, which has led to her bf being all, "Ellen, I'm lining up my best people here for you, take your pick." lol wtf. X3

And through some kind of magic I get Friday and Saturday off next weekend :O So I can actually attend a colleague's birthday party for realz~~~

I'm freaking happy with IkkiCon. Enjoyed the Amv contest and I got all the russians posters. My comrades are gonna freaking love these ones hahahaha.
On other note I'm going to pass new year in the street. I'm on my way to Houston
