download does not download

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and don't know much.

I tried to download the 99mb version of "We Will Never Fight Alone- Gurren Lagann" video - by JCD - from the "local" link but for some reason I get the "The download should have automatically started by now. If it did not, click here" and every time I press it, the same message reappears after 10 seconds. I looked in downloads and nothing happened. Is this one of those sites where I have to donate to download? Or is the link broken?

Downloading from the local server is available to all members, no donation required (though donations are always appreciated.) I can't remember the last time something like this came up. More information will help us help you. Right now, all I can think of is that you can try clearing your browser's cookies and cache for the site, logging back in and trying the download again.

Regarding your other post: It hasn't been deleted. New users' posts need to be approved by a mod or admin first before they can be seen by everyone else (including the original poster). It's a feature of the forum software to cut down on forum spam. After you have one of your posts approved (like this one was), you no longer need approval from a mod/admin.
and if your posts need approval, the forums do tell you that after you submit a post...

I am using Firefox 8.0 with these add-ons:
Adblock Plus 2.0.1
Adblock Plus Pop Up Block Addon 0.2.9
British English Dictionary 1.19.1
Download Helper 4.9.7
Flagfox 4.1.9
Flashblock 1.5.15.1
Webmail Adblocker 3.6

I just found out that I need to update these four plugins:
Shockwave
Java Platform
Java deveopment Tool
Silverlight Plugin

I think this may be the problem, no link works from this site. Other site links work fine, will report back soon

Fixed it, all I had to do was to update the plugins.

My only assumption was that the op wasn't giving due diligence in basic fault isolation techniques before posting. He seems to have figured out after giving it another go though.
