A while ago, I got pretty gung-ho over the prospect of finally getting to make an AMV, as I realized Windows Vista included Windows Movie Maker. So I right away, with reading nary a tutorial or forum post or any other outside source of information on it, ripped some footage (at 720X480) with a program called Xilisoft, imported it into WMM and just started editing. I was enthralled with having made an AMV in the end, whatever it came out; in fact, I even submitted it to an upcoming convention's AMV Contest. Although I've come back to the video to get it ready to send with the submission, and I'm pretty worried now that I may have been a might bit rash...
I didn't realize, from not reading any tutorials for fear of intimidating my resolve to make an AMV, that there would be so much technical work to be done, to make something worth watching.
While I'm most likely going to download AviSynth and the AMVApp (if I can...), and become more educated on the subject of editing, I was just curious if there's anything I can do post-production to this video to perhaps make it look a little better?
