I'm not a huge pony fan. It's more that, ten years ago I started naming my PCs after Sailor Scouts but I was getting a new laptop, a new desktop, and refurbishing my old shitbox desktop into a home theater PC and I wanted a more modern naming scheme. The wallpapers just match the PC names. The TV's PC itself, you rarely see it's wallpaper because it boots directly to XBMC and you rarely see anything on it.
However, it is remarkable in that it's a pile of crap that plays 1080p using DirectX Video Acceleration.
CPU: Athlon 64 3200+, Single Core

Yeah, AGP. I had to dig up an AGP DX10 card so it could use DXVA for video decoding for it. However it also has a secondary purpose, it's a storage server. ...It's not a terribly FAST storage server however. It has a 1gbit ethernet adaptor, but it's on the internal PCI bus so it doesn't get CLOSE to 1gbit, more like 360mbps. It also has SATAI HDD controllers on PCI slots, which thusly compete for bandwidth with the ethernet adaptor when transfering. I put DriveBender on it, which lets me assemble multiple drives into one logical drive for windows, without the caveats of a RAID0 arrangement. Also, specific folders are set to 'Redundant' where copies are kept on multiple physical drives and checksums are used to keep them valid. This is where I store 'warm' backups of film projects and other important material. DriveBender was a pretty nice piece of software for $20.
But yeah, it's basically 'A very useful bucket of crap'.
