I've always understood that there's a hierarchy when you're using multiple modifier keys.
In order:
Command (only on a Mac)
Control
Alt (Option on a Mac)
Meta (only in emacs or Solaris)
Shift
In order:

I say Ctrl+Alt+Del in English, but Alt+Ctrl+Del in Russian
