Sucked back in by Pokemon Black...beat the elite 4 for the first go, now the rest of the map has opened up, got the new dex and I have to super level mah pokemanz to beat the elite 4 + champion on their crazy levels.

I really should be doing other things >_> But if I only play while I'm waiting on renders to finish, I'm not being lazy...right? D:

First played this when I wuz 8 and I enjoyed every minute of it. Only reason why I wanted my mom to get it at the time wuz because it wuz packaged in a big-ass box even though I've never heard of the game beforehand, I didn't expect to have my mind blown so much from the game. Took me over a year to beat it back then but now I can do it in 3 days. Till this day I haven't experienced a single boss fight as creepy as the final one in this game, Giygas is a fuckin trip and what makes the fight even more creepy is the fact that the entire game before it wuz lighthearted, almost kid-friendly and a bit humorous. Then as soon as you get to him it's like a visual and psychological trip to Hell

Even worse, I pulled out an SNES game I'd rather be playing. [Earthbound].
So yeah, I feel bad for the poor game. :(
Had a ball playing Catherine and getting the true endings from both girls so now I'm replaying Earthbound again for the 2nd time this year except now I'm using Game Genie codes, so glad I never sold this game. Here's a spectacular art piece of the final battle,

I would show a full pic of Giygas' final form as depicted in Darrow's famous Earthbound web-comic but it is high octane nightmare fuel and I don't want to mind-scar anyone. Still, any Earthbound fans who haven't read Darrow's web-comic needs to check it out immediately, it's the best web-comic of Earthbound on the planet and one of the best web-comics period.

I do believe Giygas and Porky both have to be 2 of the most diabolical, evil, insane, and yet tragic villains I've ever faced in video games in the 24 years I've been on this earth. I could sum up Giygas and Porky in many ways being that Giygas brought his mind and body to a point no lifeform should ever go no matter what the reason and Porky is like a child antichrist, and it's extremely easy to hate both of them due to what they have done, but at the same time you can't help but feel sorry for both of them due to the horrible pasts that they had to go thru that was beyond their controls and the hardcore decisions that led them to take the universe and everyone in it to hell.
As for FF12 I bought it Halloween nite in '06 when it came out and even though I feel like it's the worst FF game I've ever played it wasn't all that bad. And if I pay close to seventy bucks for a game and it's strategy guide you best believe I'm gonna slog thru it. Two of the best points to me about the game is that there was A LOT to do and the over eighty hours it took me to get to the final battle was absolutely worth it. Had a ball kicking

was epic as fuck. Can't say I'll ever replay the game all the way thru again though. I'm the type of rpg gamer who has many memory cards so I can have many save points from rpg games, I save before certain events and boss fights so I can experience those events and fights again without having to replay the whole game. I still do replay certain rpgs all the way thru after I do this, but FF12 I will never replay all the way thru again.

I've never understood getting strategy guides for games like Final Fantasy...like the whole point of the game is trying to figure out how to beat certain enemies and trying to find like hidden items and shit scattered all over the place. Just seems like a strategy guide completely defeats the purpose/fun of even playing the game in the first place.

I only use em when I'm stuck and/or trying to find more things in the game that it itself doesn't let you in on at first glance. Besides with a game like FF12 there isn't much of a story to spoil and most of the guides themselves dodges what happens in the games, only shows you where to go next without telling you how in the main quest except sidequests, and sometimes doesn't even show you who the final bosses are and how to fight them. And they usually have a wide list of all the items, weapons, armors, etc., and where to find and/or how to acquire them. The Dragon Quest 8 guide is a HUGE example of all of this. Thanks to Gamefaqs though most people and myself don't buy guides much anymore.

I know all that, but my mindset is that if all of the secrets and options on how to progress through the game are spelled out to you, there's no point,
