Im a little surprised to see some of the Social Links in that trailer...I know they are a big part of the game, but still. Wonder if they will be cameos, or actually have influence on Souji. Er, Yu.

And goodness, the animation is just wonderful

Haven't played P4, but I'm playing Persona 3 Portable right now and this honestly has to be the anime I'm most excited for this year. I'd love to see a proper P3 anime too, as opposed to the supposed shambles that was Trinity Soul. I haven't watched it yet, but apparently it was rubbish.

Sounds good to me (well, Lotus Juice and Shoji Meguro are pretty much autowin anyway), though I like Pursuing My True Self more.
To be honest, I was a bit skeptic about this whole P4 anime project, but after seeing more trailers it seems alright. I just hope the actual anime looks as good as the PVs do.
...Though I think I'm gonna watch this anyway because shadow!Kanji caught my interest.

Apparently the first dvd is going to have 3 minutes of extra footage in ep one.

Japan is sure trying to push dvd/BR sales. :V

just saw ep1. It was alright I suppose but it felt a bit forced like they are trying to cram in most of the events from the game in one episode. Also I need the english voice actors and actresses the original japanese just doesn't sound right to me anymore like Teddie and Chie :/

Im hoping the pacing slows down the next episode, because it seems like they tried to pack in the...two or three or whatever hours of gameplay 'prologue' into this ep to get it over with. This seems pretty slick though, the animation is quite nice and I like how they used the soundtrack from the game. Lots of little throwbacks to the game itself, brought a smile to my face :3
