Same.
And then after I'm finished I never want to watch it again. ~_~

~I'm afraid of my youtube account.
~I'm a slave to my little sisters, because I know they won't edit if I don't do all the boring technical stuff for them.
~I spend days cutting and cleaning footage and then never use it.
~My planning to editing ratio is like 100:1.
~I feel like I can't edit to a series if it's still coming out; I need to have all the footage at my disposal before I start (oh, Kingdom Hearts =_=).
~I copy myself without noticing (ex: 2 of my vids have the same ending--with different anime o.O).
~Sooo lazy about sending stuff to conventions.

* I have a habit of coming up for ideas for AMVs with songs other people have already used. Not really a bad thing on it's own, but when I want to use four songs that one other editor already used, it's kinda embarrassing.

* That said, ever since I released Digital Phenomenon and some people accused me of copying Sierra Lorna's Phenomenon -Open Your Soul vid, I'm scared of people accusing me of copying other things :uhoh:

* I use one script for pretty much every anime, and it works well enough for me.

* I hate starting new projects, sometimes to the point of wanting to cancel them, but after the video starts shaping up, I start to enjoy myself.

* It can be very hard for me to casually listen to a song unless I have an AMV idea for it.

For the most part Im the same - unless it's a long running series like One Piece/Pokemon, since those...arent going to ever end. I don't want to get stuck and thing "CRAP, I could have sued that scene" after the fact.

More flaws:
- I always starts a project too close to the deadline for the convention I want to send to.
- I always get something "good enough" and then I tell myself I will finish tweaking it later but never do get around to all of them.
- Stick to a very strict "release schedule" for youtube based around convention premieres, leaving most of the videos I uploaded there with flaws that I fixed for the org release.
- Avoid sending to a lot of conventions because I don't want to look like a troll, then regret not sending to certain ones later, lol...

Quirks that aren't really flaws:
- I always encode to h264 Main Profile @ Level 3.1 in a MP4 container so my videos are compatible with iOS devices, Apple TV, PS3, XBOX 360, and Android OS.
- I always convert the audio to 48kHz (old habit from when MPEG-2 was required for contest, I assume they wanted to throw it on a DVD and some DVD players don't like 44.1kHz audio in VOB files).

- I don't finish about 85% of all the projects I start

- I try to create a point to about 90% of my work but it usually never works out or makes 0 sense till the end.

- When using avisynth I tend to just let avspmod script for me :/

- I get stuck on certain parts of a single scene and cut the crap out of it usually creating jump cuts for no other purpose then I like that shot.

- I find meanings or points to songs, but leave no trace of where I got it leaving people confused to how I came up with the idea ( my latest video is example of this)

- Sometimes I just get lazy with my effects.
Image I stream and stuff o.o

More often than not, I just sit there with my program openned and not actually edit. Video could have been done much sooner if only I actually bothered to edit.

x3

I'm still new but I can kinda see my flaws.

- I suck at maintaining a solid concept (Currently working on fixing that).

- I dislike doing an action AMV, but I conceitedly think that I'm way better at doing action AMVs more than any other type of AMVs.

- Effects are my worst enemy since I don't have the right programs to work with. Like AE and Photoshop...

- I can never get my footage to look exactly the way it should be. Clean cut and purrrty. :P

- Whenever I clip out some scenes from my footage, I tend to just stick with only the footage I just clipped and never attempt to get any new clips, which, I need to fix as well.

- I can get very obsessed when working on an AMV, but, if something distracts me enough, I can forget about editing for hours unless its important. xD

- I'm scared of comments on my videos and I'll either use them if I'm still working on my AMV or, if my AMV is already finished, I'll just use those comments for the next time I make an AMV.

- I hate most of my AMVs, but I love them as well... if that makes sense.

- I suck with people so that's why I haven't joined a studio, or finished one single collab. or MEP yet. (Working on that too >.<)

I have more stuff but I'd be giving too much away I'm afraid. xD

I always edit in a linear fashion from the beginning of the song and I almost never return to what I've already edited to improve it. There are no multiple drafts for me, everything needs to be perfect right away.
