I'm really bored and want to play magic, but nobody is available to play... If you want to play, pm me on IRC and we can have a workstation match. Please, I'm bored as hell...

Also, thanks for posting, Heni. ^.^

I work at my college's library, and some new students came in the other day to look around for some books. There was a "How to draw Manga" book sitting on our cart of books to be re-shelved, and one of the kids says "Oh hey, there's an anime drawing book! Just what I was looking for."

I should have just let him have it, but of course I opened my big mouth and said "You don't want those books, they're crap and don't teach you anything." Which is the truth, it looks like some of those books are written by 12 year olds.

So his face lights up and he's all "Oh, you like anime! Here let me show you some of my stuff I'm working on, I'm writing a manga." I really didn't care to look at his drawings because I already had a feeling about what they would look like, but he wouldn't let it go. So he handed some over.

ALL.
TRACED.
FROM.
THE.
BLEACH.
MANGA.

What was I going to say? My boss would have my ass if I smacked him upside the head and told him to go actually learn something stop tracing the fuck out of terrible art anyways, so I didn't. Then he goes on and on and ON about how awesome of a drawer he is and how it just comes sooooo naturally to him. He then asked me if I drew as well and if I'd like some lessons. I politely said no and showed him my dA page. He took a half second to look at it and said "Oh, those are okay."

:|

Finally I told him that I had to get back to work, and AS I WAS HELPING ANOTHER CUSTOMER, he says "If you're a true anime fan, you'll know what I'm about to tell you:" and goes spouting something in Japanese. I believe it was something like, "Manga-ka desu ka?". I don't know any Japanese really, but I think he was asking me if I was a manga-ka?

At this point I was pretty much ready to tell him to fuck off because his obvious weeabooness was pissing me off, but thankfully my manager came and did it for me. But don't worry! He said he'd be back to show me more of his manga-desu!

ANIME FANS. COLLEGES WHO LET EVERY-FUCKING-BODY IN. HOW TO DRAW MANGA BOOKS.

TL;DR: Weeaboos who won't leave you the fuck alone.

He is a pretty good drawer though, you gotta admit. Holds all sorts of knick knacks, slides with ease, and a fine drawer pull adorning his face. Not the best drawer, sure, but still pretty good.

Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention. Was this your uncle?

I dunno, doesn't sound like a very well-organized drawer to me.

It doesn't have to be organized to be a good drawer. It just has to hold your crap. Not actual crap though. That's not a drawer.

Well it did sound like he was full of crap, so maybe he is a pretty good drawer.
