Sony Vegas Pro 10 Lagarith Issues

Currently working with Sony Vegas Pro 10.d. I have a ton of clips I am working with on this project... some from DVDs, others from .avi files downloaded online. I have converted all of the files with Vdub to the Lagarith Lossless codec. Now when I play these files with Windows Media Player everything is fine.

However when I import them to Vegas it only shows video and no audio. (In the trimmer the audio area is literally blank. And if I try to cut a section out it crashes.)

Any suggestions? Slightly frustrated at this point as I thought Lagarith would be completely compatible with Vegas. Ugh.

Apologies... this is solved. Was an issue with the AC3 codec which was a pain to install since I have Win7x64 but it works now... If I knew how to delete this post I would!
