As if everyone did not already see this question coming

The Rules wrote:Please encode your MPEG2 video for NTSC (720×480) 4:3 playback at 29.97 fps.
Is 23.976fps with the 3:2 pulldown flag acceptable?
Also, if we are encoding at 29.97fps, do you want top field first, bottom field first, or progressive?

I'll be submitting a video soon...Animazement is usually the only convention I get to go to, I wish they had editor events or get togethers like some of the conventions have...I always thought those sounded fun.

Historically TFF was used first for MPEG, but BFF is useable. That being said, MOST MPEG-2 encoding softwares tend to have BFF as the default when selecting DVD profiles and such, so BFF may be the safe route since it's probably the more "generically popular" choice.

Who should I have contacted about this? ^^
Because I never got an answer here.
I also don't remember if I submitted a video.
Might someone be contacting the editors who did?..like soon?

So, I'm guessing our video isn't a finalist, but since no one's said anything I just wanted to ask if anyone can confirm that emails went out to finalists.

I did not get an e-mail and mine was shown as a finalists, meaning none of the finalists got e-mails. Did you see your Dreamhunt video? I did see a video with that show. As for the winners, I'll try to tweet them from the closing ceremonies then post them on here afterwords.
