Re: Fractale
The first episode is what makes me frustrated with this show because pretty much everything after that first episode is completely different. That being said, I loved the beginning: it almost gave off a bit of a Studio Ghibli vibe.
Then Nessa came in. Mmf.
But I got used to her.
Then the naughty jokes started. I wondered if the creators thought it'd be funny to call a character a pervert 24/7, because if so, I wasn't getting it.
Then they take one episode to show total bloodshed (which is an extreeeeeme contrast to the show's light-hearted nature) and then go back to its light-hearted stuff almost instantly. The show was having like moodswings all of the time. :[
Then
AND THEN the ending has the two girls and Clain going up a tube in space from the Earth (because thats totally possible) and the actual ending itself lacked a lot. Especially how they say that
Points that I admittedly did like about the show, though, were its music, voice acting, and fantasy-esque plotline. I liked the idea of Fractale, and I liked how people wanted to 'overthrow the system.' I liked how Clain really took an interest to vintage things and I liked how the directors showed how vital Fractale was to humanity.
It just... it could've been executed so much better. Things could have been explained. Dialogue could have been avoided (unless the naughty stuff was just so compelling to the Japanese) and stuff. First episode gave it potential, but it veered off on a really different course afterwords.

Re: Fractale
I would fan fic this...but theres not enough to go on. I'll say "I wish this..." and "I want that..." but I feel that All i could do is completely revamp the story to give it a good flow.
Like...
"The world before fractale was... and then one man had an idea... this is how it all started..." I think a prequel anime would be cool. Maybe be like: "A group of kids is trying to prevent the establishment of fractale in their world...
That way, season two of the fractale story would be about finding these lost kids and their homeworld...

Re: Fractale
I still think dystopian setting and problems would fit this anime more than fantasy-esque adventures of undecided hero :>
