Re: Tekkoshocon IX AMV Contest - Final Deadline is March 6,
I sent in an e-mail for an FTP entry, but I've yet to get an e-mail back, and the deadline is this weekend. Should I be worried?

PM'd the info.CodeZTM wrote:I sent in an e-mail for an FTP entry, but I've yet to get an e-mail back, and the deadline is this weekend. Should I be worried?
Also, anyone who has sent an e-mail for FTP submission to amvcontest@tekkoshocon.com but has not received any reply should contact me by Org PM. There are only 2-1/2 days left to the deadline, so please let me know right away if you still want to get a submission in.
Thanks

Glory, I just finished a vid last night. If I email you the info, can I tag it on to my other two?

I'm kind of bummed I won't get to enter this one into AE's contest this year. Maybe if the con happens next year, you can let us enter vids from the last two years.Vlad G Pohnert wrote:Excellent!!! I'll throw an extreme entry into the fray.
I just need to clean it up some and replace a few scenes to make it "appropriate."

Sure, that's no problem. Just PM, e-mail, or upload the submission info for the new entry and it's go to go.CorpseGoddess wrote:Glory, I just finished a vid last night. If I email you the info, can I tag it on to my other two?

Re: Tekkoshocon IX AMV Contest - Final Deadline is March 6,
My "extreme" entry is on its merry way to your server.
I have a violence- / nudity-free version of this video but it didn't have the right impact for either drama or action.
I also found it more difficult to tell the story when watering it down.
I'm glad there are more contests these days adopting "extreme" or "NSFW" as valid categories.
Re-EDIT: FileZilla made it happen finally.

Re: Tekkoshocon IX AMV Contest - Final Deadline is March 6,
I have to agree about the extreme & NSFW...I've been going through vids for my overnight block, and there are so many good ones that will never get a chance to be shown at a con because of their content. It's really gratifying that I'll be able to show off some of these, even if it's only to 5 or 6 insomniac weirdos like myself.Deuce Loosely wrote:My "extreme" entry is on its merry way to your server.
