If that is the case then frame rate shouldn't be an issue, as videos with 23.976fps videos can be encoded with 3:2 pulldown and 29.97fps content can be encoded progressive and both would play back fine on the same disc (even if joined). With that in mind though, you might want to tell people NOT to encode it interlaced, because if they choose the wrong field order when they encode it to 29.97fps interlaced, it'll really screw up the re-encode and playback.
I was going to suggest the same thing.

going into screening Action has more videos AND a longer play time than Drama

I may or may not have an action entry this year, depending on a.) how motivated I'm feeling after cranking out 2 videos in the last month, and b.) how badly I get sucked into Dragon Age 2 next week. :awesome:

Oh, and of course getting everything ready for being one of Vlad's trusty assistants, of course. Assuming he doesn't send me any more con program write-ups.

Maybe you need to *cough cough* take some time off write-ups and do Iron Editor :P We still need a challenger or else California wins by default

Which reminds me, since i was the only one last year who didn't have a death note (and or a comedy/twisted) video to show during the spotlight, i think i promised the audience that i would make one... hmmmmm

Alright..so 720p and a 480p video both at 23.976fps is fine then? Because I'm ready to send my videos.
I don't see what the issue is if it's not 23.976fps.
