KATSUCON 17 AMV CONTEST NEED COMEDY & ROMANCE (1/29/11)

This year's competition must be really good.

I certainly hope that's what it means. I still hope I'll be getting in - the longer I have to wait to find out if I'm in the finals, the less and less confident I am in my video. I don't like that.

Last year at Yaoi-Con, I didn't even know if my vid was in until I walked into the contest room and saw the ballot; I was a nervous wreck up until that moment. I pity my poor friend that was with me in the line up.

Jeez. Yeah, Katsucon is, like, my birthday con. I adore it, and my friends will put up with basically anything because of it. I don't want to have to make them go through me ranting the whole time until the contest, though.

While I'm fairly certain of SOME videos that made the finals I can't quote a list even I don't have yet.
BUT...
I do have the Comedy finalists so I'll tease you with those.
There are four out of several we received within the deadline extensions so no one was a sure thing.

And to address the concern earlier about it being a tough contest this year, I can tell you that Action and Upbeat are gonna present a lot of tough choices.

OH, and a point of interest.
That "plane hangar" Katsucon held main events in last year?
We have an actual ballroom this time.
I'm guessing the acoustics will be better.
And we're gonna get together with the tech crew tomorrow night and make sure there will be no sound problems or equipment conflicts again.

*cheers* I'm glad you guys liked my Comedy entry enough. It's my first attempt at Comedy and I personally thought it was pretty amusing lol. I shall be stalking the ORG ALL NIGHT for the full list ^_^ I is so excited!

I have a strong feeling (after perusing the other editor's for comedy) that I don't stand a chance... but would appreciate it if the whole list was posted for the categories...if that's not too much trouble...*pout*
