Yo~!
I only just finished watching this last night.. I am not sure how many of you will agree, or disagree with this. How many of you will actually watch the whole movie straight through before posting your thoughts. But I thought I'd try and bring up a debate of some sorts.. I don't want this to turn into some chaotic forum thread. Though chances are it might.

ZEITGEIST: MOVING FORWARD
I think this is really important for us humans& people to really think about our next step in this world. I personally don't want the world do die before I can even see my own children get married. I want this world to be able to carry on as long as possible :3 I want everyone to be able to wake up years from now and still see the sunrise, then at night see it set... But only we can change that you know? May seem so hypocritical, or not possible.. but it can be done. We just have to stop being lazy, stop not caring, and turn around and say lets do this. ^_^!!
Im a crazy Utopian who loves kitties D:
Nah really though, what you guys think about this? Seriously.

I both hate and like vids like these. I like them for the fact that they actually make people stop and think about things instead of letting them live their carefree lives but at the same time I hate them because they are depressing and remind you that there is very little any one person can do to change something other than promoting it and hoping others will join a cause. Many people in history have succeeded in doing this though, it just takes more effort than most are willing to give do to carefree lifestyles.
Kinda deep of a comment but whatever, it's just my honest opinion.
FYI: I didn't watch all of it but most of what I did watch was inspiring. I don't plan to debate but figured I'd atleast comment on it

"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

I definitely support the fact that these make people think about the world is headed. On that alone, I certainly feel that this is good. However, I would enjoy and approve of Zeitgeist a lot more if it wasn't bound up so heavily in wacko conspiracy discourse.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Re: ZEITGEIST: MOVING FORWARD
I watch this like the day it came out lol. The people interviewed are pretty amazing people. They have some very interesting ideas on how how to change the world for the better. Would definitely recommend other to watch this.
The first two movies were very fact oriented and helped clarify a lot of things i didn't quite understand, such as where money actually comes from. This ones seems to leave out more of those facts and fly off into some pretty wild accusations.
My beef with this movie is that the narrator seems to think that the majority of the people in the world are a bunch of idiots who consume resources and don't think about sustaining the environment at all. In reality, recycling is more popular than ever. Even major energy giants are investing in renewable energy such as wind turbines and cars are becoming more fuel efficient every day. Even electric cars are starting to get more popular. Maybe progress isn't being made as fast as some people would like, but it is being made.
Also, the ending was very powerful. Just about cried when the little kid gave up his piggy bank.

Re: ZEITGEIST: MOVING FORWARD
It's a lot less controversial than the first two documentaries. I'm assuming Peter Joseph got a lot of flack for those which derailed some good messages; so I think this was his way of reconciling that problem. It was a good documentary, though I was kind of hoping there would be more straight-forward suggestions for what we can do as individuals like in the first movie. Particularly how to begin the switch from a money-based-economy to a resource-based-economy.
