Collapsible categories on the forum?

Would it be possible to add the ability to make the forum categories collapsible?

It seems the function is available as a MOD, via http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 0&t=699315

I've gotten used to using that ability on some of the other fora I browse (as well as the collapsing nav categories on the Members.Main page), which is why I asked. I don't know if the [Beta] tag on the MOD is a deterrent or if it even has the capability of storing its configuration with cookies so that collapsed sections stay that way across sessions, though. I didn't really read through that thread much.
