Effects Vs. Raw;

Yarp, this was just something I was curious about.
Do you guys prefer effect-whored amvs full of masking and flashy backgrounds and all that shizz?
Or do you like raw-ish, flowy videos?

Personally, I'm a mix of the two. I enjoy watching both, and enjoy editing both. And I also fail at both. X'D

Of these I like the following:
Overflow. So many things to see and grasp that my brain can't handle all of it. Videos like Bleach Technique Beat.
Flowy. I think videos just need good flow. With a clanky flow your effects won't look good. It's still anime + music, right?

I can tell you for sure that I prefer a rawy video over a cheesy effect video.

and there can be pretty bad RAW edition too, so what is good is what you do, not what you use.
