The Mother of All Ergo Proxy Trailers + 2 other EP + Gundam
My first amv, using Ergo Proxy and the 'Mother of All Trailers' audio. My guiding principles were simple: Don't use that one scene that every single Ergo Proxy amv out there uses. You know the one I mean. Otherwise, I just tried to match the visuals to the hilarious audio track. Most trailer audios, I've since found, aren't nearly so forgiving.
Keep in mind that this is my first ever work! A clip or two are awkward, I admit, and there's some pointless mouthflapping, but Windows Movie Maker isn't the kindest program. You can tell with the end titles' getting desync'd, for example (Movie Maker limited how much I could shorten title overlays).

Ergo Proxy Revolutions (Trailer)
This is my second amv, using Ergo Proxy and the audio from the trailer for Matrix Revolutions that's at the end of the credits for Matrix Reloaded. Like my previous trailer, this one works, although one or two clip selections don't quite work.
The particular issue with this trailer was matching the sound while matching the mood. I succeeded at the first part, I think at the former at the expense of the latter and at the expense of good editing (at times). Nevertheless, I enjoy this amv, so it's ok.

Ergo Proxy Black Prophecy Trailer
After seeing the ridiculously over the top trailer for the upcomming space MMO, Black Prophecy, I just had to use the audio somehow. Luckily the words matched the plot of Ergo Proxy just enough.
This is my third amv, it took 6 hours in windows movie maker. Like my previous trailers, I don't exactly match every beat, but it's still fun, IMO.

Ontological Gundam : A GS Destiny Episode 34 Tribute
My fourth amv, the first to actually BE a anime music video.
I know Destiny isn't the most popular series given the number of character derailments etc, but episode 34 was an extremely exciting experience to watch the first time, as the second season stars try (and apparently succeed) to kill the first season stars.
The track 'Ontological Shock' from the original Matrix movie just sounded perfect for it. All one needed do is put in ZAFT when the music was evil themes, and put in the Archangel and Kira when the music was more heroic, and the amv basically made itself.
I did have a bit of trouble cramming enough of the plot into the appropriate parts of the music, especially the part right before the explosion, but I think it's sufficient.
