Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Ooh, I'd love some tea. =D
*sips while watching*

I didn't really watch the Death Note AMV since I haven't seen Death Note, but I must say that you did some fabulous justice to Star Driver. ^_^ While it was a biiiiit random at times (and even though I'm not really into that kind of music), I liked your editing style: nothing flashy, just nice and raw.
Looking forward to more from you. :3

Also, for maximum experience on the org, after you upload your AMVs and want to post them in a topic here, simply go back to your video's page, click on the small chain link icon (near the top next to the title) and copy the VidID link there. Then paste that link in your post and you'll be good.
So for your Star Driver one:

Welcome to the Org. :D

*sips tea with Eka*

Indeed. Let's see what we can do here..

i snagged Star Driver, and I was rather impressed. I thought that the art style and editing really fit the mood of the song. DEFINITELY a great job for a first attempt. That being said, I think some of the scenes were a little long and/or not actiony enough during the chorus parts. The watermark on the top right should have been cropped off to look more professional. There was also a little glitchyness at the beginning with some blocks. I felt it also needed a little more sync. The beginning bit with the guy getting into the mech and matching with the beat is what I'm talking about. I think a lil' more of that would have been a nice touch. The ending text was also kind of immediate and the text was kind of unprofessional looking....

Still, great job, and I cannot wait to see more from ya.

[Did you use WMM? If so, I'd suggest snagging a different editor and spending some time investing into learning the software. :) ]
