I've left an opinion on the video, but I'd like to help give you some more exposure by reiterating the salient points here:

Seeing the network idents in the corner was fairly irritating, I'm afraid, but that aside this was a very strong piece that had something to say. It's an interestingly off-beat choice of music for Gurren Lagann, which always tends to lend itself to noisy or sugar-rush tracks, and the video further distingushes itself with its narrative sense - it tells quite an arresting and almost dolorous tale of sorrow and revenge, as well as having the darker undercurrent of recrimination and vendetta as Viral contemplates his mistress. It's good to have a hint of reflective sophistication in a show that's normally so full of bombast, and it feels fulfilling to watch.

Ehh rather boring to watch. Felt like it took forever to get through. I was able to pick up some sort of story so that's a nice job. However, the overall editing seemed kinda bleh. Felt too slow and not enough impact.

Yeah, I felt it was really quite slow, some of the parts were nice, also, around the 40ish mark, some footage started to have frameblending or in general a laggy feeling to them, looked super choppy imo.

Nice to see a release though Lex.

I should finish my Samurai X video with this song....(me finish a video? gtfo.)

i loved the fast part, but other than that it really was terrible. too slow, weird clip choices, i would have tried to stick with a general story for those parts because it looked like you went with the generic simon/kamina story route but the end was all about viral for no reason. ALSO, a lot of parts were painfully laggy for some reason, and as someone mentioned before, the frameblending was bad.

but the fast part had some pretty good flow to it i thought, i just wished the frameblending and tv sim wouldn't have ruined it.

TV TOKYO!
