Subtitles = bad. Granted this is more towards the use of fansubs, but I've seen quite a few amvs that pull off subbing the song, or use of subs in general in a good way. (I thought this was an obvious one lol)

I've had QCs about Anime Academy Heroes saying it could have been better if there were no subtitles. To which I just think, "que?"

No, they didn´t, Editor are just not uploading them to the org anymore , and now they are a subgender of "oversync" a popular jargon between elite editors of youtube, just like, using Naruto, Bleach or One piece with any generic rock band

Is it taboo to use preset transitions? Kinda like what George Lucas did in the prequels. I swear that movie was edited in Premiere and he just went down the list in the "Transitions" tab

I know there's the obvious tech taboos like "don't encode in wmv", "don't use mp3s in premiere", which are plentiful, but I would rather focus on the taboos that focus on the creative aspect.

i don't see tv sim on the Org at all unless it's to ACTUALLY simulate a tv in a video. or if the editor is gernally bad anyway. there are exceptions though.
