Website Design?

Well this is basically something that has come from the thread: State of the Org - 10-13-10

I am not quite sure what all is really being looked at with org. If its just the site in itself, or just getting more viewers, members, stats and so on. However, what I can offer is to make a new layout design for the site, and maybe forum..though I think the forum is fine as it is, unless a change of colours or whatever can be made....

I would generally make the design in photoshop, basically create everything in photoshop. BUT I cannot do much within the html area, my teacher sucked when teaching us so that stuff would prolly be so messed if I went about it that I could make it look cool, but anyone inside looking at the html would think I'm dumb, and wonder how the site is really working with all garbage all over the place. I can create any piece you would need, say if you needed a rollover, I could make the rollovers accordingly. The only thing is, this works well for those who know dreamweaver, or at least basic or more html?? ... which I assume whoever made this site to begin with knows the knowledge needed at least for that, or at least know how to use the coordinations and photoshop in general. Because once the layout is made in photoshop it can't be imputting into another program like illustrator or gimp. Photoshop is after all the easiest program to design you layouts in.

So I guess I'm offering my time, to make you a design layout...

Mainly what I want to know is if any admins/ members like the idea, have any thoughts, or opinions. As well as any ideas for if it was really good go, on what they'd like to see for the site, colours. Anything at all really, just lemme know thoughts?
