But it's not like all the german/japanese/whoever people started a war. A war is always started by some politician or an insane leader. They (those leaders) usually just sit back in their little bunker, and "enjoy" the show. But it's the people that suffer from it. Not the ones that started it in the very fist place. And that is just not right.
And for the war against terror: It would have been possible to not bomb Afghanistan, and win the war either way. They just had to send a few of their super forces, like Seals and Rangers. They would wipe out an entire mob of Al Kaida Troops on the go-go.
What I can't understand at the carpet bombing is, first they destroy everything with fire bombing, and after that run, they drop food and suppies to the ground... well doesn't make sense in my head...
Peace out,

You know you are right about most civilians being innocent but.... People allow thier goverments to stay in power even if they say they don't. It's up to them to make sure thier leaders are good guys not assholes. Also remember in modern war women are the workforce building the weapons of your enemy so they are a valid target.

Are you people even aware that the United States has lost EVERY war since 1942? The evil empire has great propaganda but terrible results. Mr Oni, as far as politics go, you are doing nothing but contradicting yourself left and right. You have tidbits of information here and there but no solid facts. I can't believe you would claim that WWII was "justice". I hate to say it but in this way, Sept. 11 was "justice" as well. "Justice" for the U.S's reproachable foreign policies. So if the score had already been settled, Afganistan was no longer "justice" but "murder".

Well I know my opinion may not be popular, but I am glad that the US stopped hitler from his little conquest of the world. And if soldiers are killed that is sad, but any attack on civilians is absolutely out of line.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Hey Mr Oni, as a Japanese American i am TRULY offended by your post,
my Uncle Served in the war (and thankfully he survived, my other 3 uncles who i never knew didn't) my parents lived through the post war Japan which really did mess up the country.
i'm keeping this short, not about to give a history lesson
Although i have no problems with my friends or aquantences calling me "Jap" i find your usage of the statement within your post highly racial, and offensive.
I ask politely please do not use that term loosly again

You can blow up a country and call it a skirmish. The mobilization of troops into someone else's country is an act of war. Blowing things up in someones else's country is an act of war. So we were either at war, or we are terrorists.Timelessblurr wrote:In case you are wondering the United States has not been offical at War since WWII. Thing like the Koeren War.
