In other news, I had a really quick question. When should the status be changed from 'video received' to 'video checked'? I know the due date is coming up soon, and I wanted to be sure there wasn't something wrong with my entries in the meantime that needed to be fixed.

Generally it depends on when I can take a moment and perform the full set of QC tests that I run on the video. Generally, if your video is marked as received then it is most likely fine as the basic tech requirements as well as full playback are checked before I even mark the video as being received. The Video Checked status means that the video has been watched for full content checking as well as full playback and technical checking. I've been away from home for AWA for the last week so there is a lot of backlogged entries, FTP requests, closures, and video checking that needs to be done.

I can say that every entry that has been submitted should be fully checked by the weekend. If your video does slip through the cracks you will still be given the change to correct your issue and resubmit once the deadline has passed.
