ha ha. That's what I did last year and boy did I catch flak for it.

Actually, I lug my PCs to the con every year. Partly because I run the thing but also as a means to edit during the con. Last year at ACEN I did HAMV Wars against SailorDeath and we both used our own PCs to edit with.

Bros: If you feel fine with using your laptop for editing that's fine for us. We don't care what kind of system, just that you are comfortable editing on it. I find that sometimes comfort is often better then actual speed.

Yeah becasue honestly who needs a high end pc to edit when they can win the amv wars with a 3 minute pee joke.

Craaaaap...Here I thought I had more time. Good thing I checked when entries were due before I packed away my computer for moving. I'll be sending out some entries at least by next week.

I haven't even started on my hentai contest entry. Though I just got an idea for one last night so hopefully I can finish it in time.

To be honest I considered making something for the comedy category, but I just haven't had it in me to make something up to par again. Ah well. Hope all works out well for your entry though!

Youmacon 2010 Hentai Music Video Contest Rules

Information:
· You may submit as many videos as you want to the Hentai Contest, as long as you made them.
· There is no time limit on videos.
· Fill out the Standard Contest Entry Form and select Hentai as the category.
· You will request FTP access through the entry form.
· Submit your videos also to the same snail-mail address, however, Hentai videos need to be on a separate disk from normal contest videos. (they can be shipped together)
· The contest itself will be 2-4 hours long, depending on how many entries are received.
· Entries will compete for the top 10 places.
· Videos must contain all animated clips (no live action smut). Since this is a hentai contest, 50% of the video must contain hentai material.
· Hentai material will be defined as pornographic, ultra violent, sick, nasty, and utterly wrong. (any or all of these need be present in each video)
· Videos will be pre-selected for the showing.
· The contest will take place late night one of the nights of the convention
· All persons entering this contest must be 18 years of age or older.

And just a heads up guys, As reigning champion I decided to up the goods. (Which I admit will probably be me again since I'm such an ultra hentai) So I decided to donate an extra special prize for the winner. I can also guarantee you it's not used underwear worn by Nate (or anyone else for that matter). I can say that it will definitely be worth your while to enter the H AMV contest at Youmacon.
