Well, if it's any consolation, it was that score that made me both disregard the wildcard [and everybody stating their distaste of it] and that method of judging.

EDIT: Prizes for the actual contest arrived today. Well, the first bit of them.... Nya's designs came out beautiful on the mousepad and keychain. Still waiting on the certificates and the pins, but they should be here monday.

Rest of the prizes arrived! Looks fabulous [I'll post pics later], but the certificiates [which I paid to be already framed], came with busted glass and scratched frames. So I'm gonna go buy some frames and frame them myself today. I'll make sure and ship them with more care than they were shipped to me!

Don't shoot, but I'm just using the regular postal service. I've got 3 generations of family working there, and I pretty much don't have to pay for anything with their government discount, and can get a better "package deal" for better shipping than I would Fedex or UPS. Ya'll let me know if they rape the packages, because next year I'll save up and use a more traditional shipping service.

Forgot to take pics, but I gotta wait for the camera to get back inside the house before I can. I'm actually really impressed with how well the certificates came out [but the frame is a little tacky now that I had to replace them at cost]. My favorite is the mousepad and I do not want to let it go.
