As for AMV Wars, if anyone is interested in Challenging the current champ, SailorDeath, then drop me a line. We may be able to provide an editing PC for you as well as a badge, but I can't say for sure at this time.

The most I can promise is a copy of CS3 suite and Windows Movie Maker. I have no access to Vegas, and no one I know who would provide an editing PC does either. We prefer to have our editors bring their own editing setup as they are more comfortable with that. There is ample space to store a PC over the weekend in the VAT, in fact we even have space we can provide our competitors to set up their PCs and get some practice in during the con if they desire.competitionbros wrote:I might be up for that as long as the computer has Vegas, still suck with premiere.
Thank you!ngsilver wrote:Finally, some of you have contacted me about FTP accounts. Just a reminder that the FTP account portion of the system is not completely automated. I still have to manually create and authorize the account on the FTP server and in the database system. Once that has been done (usually takes less then 3 days from when I receive the request) you will receive an email with the account information for FTP. There has been problems in the past with users receiving correspondence from the system and sometimes myself and that is why the FTP information will also display under the Entry Status box for each entry you submit, once it has been authorized. That section will appear blank until the account has been created and authorized.

ha ha. That's what I did last year and boy did I catch flak for it.competitionbros wrote:I do not wanna be lugging around my PC.
Actually, I lug my PCs to the con every year. Partly because I run the thing but also as a means to edit during the con. Last year at ACEN I did HAMV Wars against SailorDeath and we both used our own PCs to edit with.drewaconclusion wrote:ha ha.
