- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Re: Thoroughbred of Sin
I loved Brand New Day, I'm sure I'll love this. *downloads*
Edit: And I did enjoy it. \o/ I did find the black outlines to be a bit distracting, but otherwise, good job.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm still experimenting with outlines and whatnot---I'm sure I'll find a happy medium one of these days. The problem is that I love art nouveau, so I'm a big fan of heavy black outlines. I need to temper that a bit in my editing.Ileia wrote:I loved Brand New Day, I'm sure I'll love this. *downloads*

I'm glad you liked it.

Re: Thoroughbred of Sin
Yeah, the song itself is incredibly short, which is why I padded it a bit with the dialogue. The song also didn't make much sense just launching into it, so I needed Horrible's and Moist's dialogue to set the scene a bit.S.A. Robert wrote:Good video, I like it, though too short.

Re: Thoroughbred of Sin
I liked this a lot better than Brand New Day, even with the the ridiculously thick outlines, because this felt like it was a lot less reliant on lip sync. I would have preferred the dialogue to continue after the song, since it ends so abruptly, but knowing the lines that follow, I realize there isn't really a good place to end after that.
Then again, you might be able to cut the dialogue so that it can segue into Bad Horse's second phone call, and take out two songs at once.

That's not a bad idea. I'll have to muck about with the dialogue a bit and see what I come up with. Thanks for the tip.Kitsuner wrote:I liked this a lot better than Brand New Day, even with the the ridiculously thick outlines, because this felt like it was a lot less reliant on lip sync. Unsure of what that means, but I'll pretend it's a positive...Phantasmagoriat wrote:
