But just because it's imported (I think) doesn't mean that it's bootleg.
I guess when I said that it didn't come in a case, I should have said that it comes in a sleeve instead of a hard case.




I was under the impression that bootleg DVDs didn't have things like trailers, advertisements:

I am convinced that this DVD is legit. I hope the images help demonstrate it. Can somebody please look at these scans and screen shots and unlock the topic if you don't think it's bootleg. If you still think it is, then leave the topic closed by all means. I just can't imagine a bootleg having so many features that normal DVDs have.

I locked it because it shows the classic signs of being bootlegged.

-Really cheap
-Chinese Subs (and dub)
-non-retail packaging
-The licensed distributor in China is Crown Films (Proware Multimedia International in Hong Kong), not Asia Video
-Back cover art doesn't look official

Considering I can check CD Japan and find the japanese DVD here: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=KIBA-1773 which shows none of the signs Kariudo discussed, I think the thread was rightfully locked.
