why is uploading to difficult T_T

i have cuteftp, i sent in a request for my video and got my user and pass, and my video is 886,976,076 bytes.

i go to 'transfer/upload' my video in the ftp window, everything started out fine aside from the fact that it took like 5 hours. of course, it got disconnected or something and errored. since my first attempt i've been trying to upload my video for 2 days and every time i try it stops at like 50% or 15% or something terrible. it did finish once, but the bytes of my actual video and the bytes of the video i uploaded did not match so i re-uploaded again.

today i went to try again, and now it is telling me that there 'is not enough space on the drive' or something like that. there is nothing in the queue window and nothing in the site's section.


i just wanna upload my video.... T_T

That's 845.886302947998 megabytes. The org is capped to 100 mebibytes for local upload unless you request a larger upload. Thing is, unless your video is especially long, noisy, or high in resolution and/or framerate (or a combination of these), you should be able to fit it under 100MiB just fine (and possibly by a lot too) without much of an impact on the perceived quality.
I suggest you to read AbsoluteDestiny & ErMaC's Technical Guides to All Things Audio and Video so to better understand compression and various related things, so you'll be able to fit the video within the limits just fine ─ people would hardly want to keep around a 2/3 mins long video that weights almost a gigabyte, wouldn't they?
