Convention Favorites (Classic Crowd Pleasers)
I'm currently in the process of deciding AMV programming blocks for Momocon 2011, and one of my ideas is to have a 1 1/2 hour block of some of the most crowd pleasing AMVs that you've ever seen. I would like it to consist of really popular AMVs that premiered at a convention before 01/01/09. So anything from the 2009 VCAs and prior is fine. The next Momocon isn't until March 2011, so I have plenty of time. If anyone has any suggestions on videos that I should show, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Current list (I Need about 25) I'll update the list as I get suggestions. If you feel that something shouldn't be on the list, or possibly on the maybe list, tell me.
Maybes I'm kinda on the fence about these. If you feel that these should be on the current list, tell me.

While making this list, I started to wonder........has anyone ever considered giving Koop a AMV lifetime achievement award? Or possibly a Editor of the decade award

Seriously. The audience will either love it or hate it, but either way it'll be amusing.

I'm actually a bit surprised that I liked that AMV. It doesn't really fit in with the other AMVs in the list though.godix wrote:

Re: Convention Favorites (Classic Crowd Pleasers)
I keep a list of videos that I get asked to play often at my amv related events I run at cons. The following I find to be extremely popular with crowds:
Admittedly, the version I play at cons has lyrics added to it so the audience can sing along. The kids love that!
For some reason people really love this one.
and Derek Lieu - Animated Text - Liberi Fatali(FF8) (can't find a copy of it listed here in the DB, but since doesn't use any anime I suppose that would be normal)
there are a bunch more but these are perhaps some of the most popular ones and I think with this you should have enough to fill up your time fairly well.
