tis sad.....
I was over at chucky chesse or whatever the hell that place is called for my little cousins b-day and as I looked around i found one game worth playing. The X-Men arcade game. That game is great and better when you have everyone playing, I was raised on that game. So me and my bro where playing it and somewhere in the 5th level I think, I ran out of coins and died. well some 6 year old kid comes up puts in his coin and starts playing, like a retard! He uses up all of his mutant powers at the first chance he gets and cant even hit the bad guy. He had no idea what the hell he was doing. IN that kinda game is all about saving your power for the bosses and just attack the hentchmen, he couldnt even do that. He died within 1 minute everytime he played. I feel sad that the younger generation has no gaming skillz for these classic arcade games. X-men The Simpsons TMNT and others. just makes me sad.

You know what makes those games great? Blinky bosses! The nearer a boss is to death, the more he blinks red. It's classic!

Haha....give the kid a copy of PSO I gotta swee what happens to him from playing PSO. I doubt he could even equip his weapon. And you are right, it is sad when people dont' know to conserve such powers. My God, I can't blieve I remember that game.

Hell, I remember walking past an arcade and seeing a litle 4-year-old "playing" the cocktail table version of Tempest. He wasn't even using the dial to spin the shooter around...he just kept pressing the superzapper and fire buttons, each with one hand. He was also too short to look at the screen, which as I said was set into the tabletop.
He got killed once and ran off to try something else. I had to stay with my parents (did I mention this was about 20 years ago?), but I raged inwardly at the wasted game, just sitting there unplayed.

Oh man...these are classic games here. These were as fun as Hell. The Simpsons, X-Men, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...anything where you were able to kick some badguy ass simultaneously with three other people and NOT HAVE ANY FORM OF TEAM DAMAGE! I know we all hate that and the team killing that eventually derives from that damage.
