Do you think Horror Vids are actualy Scary?

I personaly dont think they are.All horror video's are,is Amv's with spooky footage and creepy songs.But the videos themselves arent scary.

I don't think you can have a 'scary' Horror AMV, because of the music you're using. Sure... you can take the "thrilling music" from a horror soundtrack, but who would want to watch such an AMV?

I only ever did one "horror" AMV and I don't think it's scary...
I think it's just moody.

The best Horror AMVs are going to capture the mood of horror... but are probably not going to be scary.

Some say my <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/legacy/video.php?v=4097"> Lost Angels</a> video is spooky.

I think it's mainly the song as Angel Sanctuary wasn't that scary.
The AMV is pretty dark tho.

Well, take MJ's "Stop Mocking Me!" That was "Perfect Blue" done to Devo! You wouldn't necessarily put those two together. Sure, it's pretty funny to watch, but they're also a haunting side to it.

i personaly think a video CAN be scary but at the same time, they dont have to. it all depends on the song really. like Kevin Caldwell's Sleep Now video, and Joes Sleep|Lain video's are really creepy to listen to. but i personaly think its called horror b/c of the atmosphere the video itself trys and creates, the video it self doesnt have to be like "soft slow music then WHAM! and it scares the hell out of u" i just think its the atmosphere of the video overall.
