The official tally is in! :)

We received 48 videos in total.

This is way down from last year, so I hope it's an aberration and not a trend.

Exhibition: 3
Challenge: 7
Novice: 14
Open: 24

Ineligible to Compete: 4
Disqualified: 12

Ineligible videos are shown in Exhibition.

5/6 of disqualified videos were DQ'd for being too small. Please remember that we require a mininum video size or aspect ratio of 640x480. We DQ'd a full quarter of videos submitted this year. It really breaks my heart and I don't want to do it. Please read the rules carefully.

Argh, mine was too long. I failed to notice the time limit for AMVs in the rules, so that was a rather dumb mistake on my part. I'm glad its at least being shown in the Exhibition, though. =)
Only 48 entries, eh? Hrm, I also hope that its a one time thing. I'm still really looking forward to seeing the entries, though!

I'm actually surprised I qualified this year. Maybe flashing images at ludicrous is the a winner!?

As always i'm looking forward to the competition, if only for the 2 reasons of A) wanting to see if I made finalists/win something. And B) hear the quiet murmur of the audience trying to figure out what they just watched, and then awkwardly clapping out of obligation. lol

Always a good time  8-)

I admit I kept your tastes in mind while making it :pizza:
Not sure if it was weird enough.
That, and I wanted to conduct an experiment on the audience. Was there an applause of some sort? :awesome:
