I hate recruiting officers. Everytime time they ask me I tell them I like to kill my friends and that I think that they looks sexy. That usually scares them off. If that doesn't work I tell them that I have a tendency to press big red buttons and break million dollor devices.

They're almost as bad as the Mormons...

Anyways, I would've turned his questions around and been like:

"How long you been in the Army?"

"Do you plan to die for your country?"

"Is your commanding officer a homosexual (Not that there's anything wrong with that)?"

"Do you like Anime?"

"Are you paid well?"

and so on...
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I got a call like that from the Navy the other day. Luckily I was in the shower, and my mom picked up the phone. She told him I wasn't interested. Hehehe. Actually, I have considered it. The armed forces are a great way to get yourself in shape, mentally and physically. Granted, the mental state they impart you with is sorta gung-ho in its attitude, but it still teaches you a lot. My father served in the Marines during Vietnam, as a tank commander. He never talked about it much, but I think he would have liked for me to try it out, after college. When he died in '97 of a heart attack, he got a veteran's funeral, too. 21-gun salute :)

You see?

That's the stuff they have to do without a draft.

It's either one, or the other with this crap.

Honestly, I'd rather go with them calling my house.

And no, I don't want to join.
