This game is kinda like a responsiblity....here's what you do. Each day that you see this topic up. Post your song of the day then try to explain why it's the SOTD alrighty? It will be fun to try to keep this topic up for a while.

My SOTD is probably Nine Inch Nails - We're in this together now.
First, this is really a "light" song for NIN, normally they are much "darker". And it really give me a feeling that, although there's so much evil out there, and so much wrongs, but in the end hope will prevail.
And second, I just love ErMaC's the End of Me, it's soo flashy!

Reason: I saw these guys on the weekend and I left feeling happier than I've ever felt in my life, this song was the second last one and reaffirmed my love for life and peace.

The Dismemberment Plan - "The Other Side"

Why? Excellent, profound, heartwarming lyrics about taking into account the future ups and downs of a relationship. Insane drumming. Cool, Travis-like vocals. And a mere 37 or 38 mentions of the song on this board just doesn't cut it.

Today I'd say Path (Vol.2) by Apocalyptica (feat. Sandra Nasic).

Why? Because this is such a powerful song! It really keeps me goin'. And I always think of this song like "OK. Now I have to go this path, things are bad, but I won't give up".
I really can't choose between the 2 versions, the instrumental is over the top, but the lyrical version is also fine, maybe a bit "harder".

Die Another Day - Madonna

The music is cool, and has nice mixes! The little pitch changes on Madonna's voice fits the song very well! And I like what she sings about! It goes so perfect with what alot of action Anime chars go through! (dying another day! Or rather, not dying THIS day! ^_^) I'd like to make an AMV with it sometime, but I DON'T HAVE THE SONG!!!! If someone can e-mail it to me, that'd be most apprciated!! And don't worry, I'll send you something back!! ^_^

Today (12/10/2002), it's "Ice Coffin" by OOMPH!. A very cool song about realizing the negative effects your emotions can have on others, and attempting to warn them of this.
