Okay, seriously, is AnimeNEXT the only sizable North American con that still announces AMV winners at the Masquerade intermission, or what? It's bad enough that they stopped letting us do it at Otakon...

Anime Boston still does it. I guess if you hadn't seen it you wouldn't have known so I'm not blaming you or anything. However, I'm only replying since I distinctly remember reading this post (which to be honest, I did find a bit odd which is why I remembered). But yeah, no reason to ignore a man's wishes. That being said, since you're in the room with them, you could always just ask prior to posting.
Anyway good luck to the contestants and the Iron Chef competitors (who were they?)!
