Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

OK, let's see here:

The logo was pretty cool. Shift+F10... hmmm... waitwat? 600x426? WTF AR is that? Uncompressed audio (that could explain the filesize with this bad quality)? And it would probably be better to save as mp4 or mkv (or avi) as those are the most used formats today. m4v is kinda fine too, but you can get some complaints about it.

Then the thing jumps up:

logo - NO.
the quality - fairly bad. There's a LOT of better Eureka footage, it has even BR, iirc (though for you DVDs might be enough).
And why borders? It would be much better completely in widescreen.

The rest I just skimmed through, so no better insight until you fix these, but it seemed fairly well edited - just improve the technicals and you'll be fine, I guess ;x

Btw, the font at the end was cut on the sides too.

If you need any help, technical section, my PM or #AMV on IRC is at your full service.

It's not that bad, especially if you are willing to improve - these are easy to learn and it will benefit you for a long time (and all the stuff you'll be doing in the future ;x

Dear dear, I'm surprised I didn't see this topic earlier. D:
*gets*

EDIT: Alright then. I will say my completely honest thoughts about this. Before I even watched the AMV itself, I literally stared at the info thinking, "Eureka seveN... and The BACKSTREET BOYS? ... Really?" xD; I now take back my doubt on this combination leaving good results, because I was surprised to see that E7 actually fit rather well with it! I liked your choice of clips for the most part, but I am going to suggest next time that you should try and stay away from the mainstream 5 episodes that were turning points in the series (Episodes 1, 2, 26,48, 50.) It might sound a little ridiculous, but I only suggest it because a lot of Renton x Eureka AMVs have those episodes only, and a lot of them also end on the final episode. I really love to see unique AMVs that stray away from the mainstream stuff, but I'll forgive you since this is your first AMV 'n' all (and besides, the lyrics DID fit with the clips, so I'm not one to pry.) There were few random clips (besides the mech battling parts, sort of) so that was good (just a question, but why did you decide to give Dominic a cameo early in the AMV? 'Seemed a tad random to me.)

Otherwise, good job. I look forward to more E7 AMVs from you!
